a closer look at 2010

so my mama and i have been sitting around today in our slippers and drinking coffee contemplating our past year....

it has been a pretty big year for me... i mean i was born... so let's start with that....

it was a pretty big event...

this is my first picture ever...

September is the month to be born in. i was born two days after my daddy's birthday and i look forward to celebrating with him each year. a whopping 9 lbs. and 13oz. and 23in long! -my parents love

 every ounce and inch of me :)

my first little friend -my cousin Levi... we are two days apart

ok let's see... this is my first halloween.

i'm dressed as a ballerina and my first "trick-or-treating" was to my Nanna and Papa's house. :) i'm told i was supposed to get some candy and i never saw it! Dad! Excuse me did YOU have to wear a tutu!?

this is my family and my first pumpkin carved by my daddy...

this is my very first bathtime...

 i was kinda freaked out at first but now that i know what happens i think bathtime is AWESOME!

Warm, splashy water? i mean doesn't get any better than this...

This was my favorite hobby this last year... snoozin' :)

my first swimming experience....um yeah not like a bath....too cold for me...

my parents couldn't get over how adorable i looked in this little swimsuit that used to be my mama's.

was she really as tiny as i am now? and will i be all grown up like her one day?

and of course my first christmas :)

i am also told that i went to my first concert ever that my mama played music in...

 i don't remember this....

                                                                        i must have fallen asleep...

so there you have it...my first year. 2010. my list of achievements would include:

-smiling

-giggling

-holding my head up

-cooing

-sleeping all night (sometimes)

and my goals for 2011:

-GAIN weight

-grow some hair

-roll over

-say my first word

-potty trained (whatever that means- mama added this one)

                                                                        AND...............discover the big world beyond my treehouse
