ta da! Snow day!

So today was my first official SNOW day! This is what i think of that white stuff piling up outside:

it is very bright and makes me blink a lot.

This snow day meant that both my mama and daddy were home with me ALL day! We were able to spend so much time together as a family. i know right? completely awesome. i'm pretty sure that i like snow days quite a bit now...

My mama spent time cooking in the kitchen today. i simply can not wait till i am older and can help her with everything. She made homemade veggie stew and some banana bread...everything smelled really good. i am told i may be able to taste a banana very shortly and i am looking forward to that.

i of course enjoyed a nice, long nap all warm and cozy on my parents bed.

We spent time playing...

...one of my favorite things to do...

 i played with my toys while my parents played a game on the floor next to me...

...some sort of game with little blocks....

We also read a few of my favorite books about shapes, colors, words, and numbers...

Overall, a very good day indeed.... (big drooly smile) :)
