first camping experience

Adriana here...

i know it has been awhile since i have written on my blog but i haven't given up on it. i have been very busy with important things like turning one (my birthday post to come soon!),finally giving into my family's eagerness for me to crawl (what's the big deal?), and helping my mama by throwing things away(even if my mama keeps getting it back out of the trash...i mean dad didn't really need his socks did he?).

this summer has been filled with many new adventures for me. my parents have loved showing me the many new and exciting things this world has to offer.

they took my sleeping and eating outside and called it "camping".  it was fun.  i enjoyed playing in nature even if it is dirty and getting to sleep snuggled between my parents in our tent.

these little plastic cups were incredibly entertaining to stack and hit together.  it was an enjoyable half hour and my parents were impressed by that time-span for some odd reason.  i've decided that it must be my job to teach my parents how to enjoy simple things again...

my second "camping" experience was slightly less rustic but only slightly...

we have family friends that own a tiny house they called a cabin up in what seemed to me to be like the mountains...LOTS of nature up there...

this place is the home to all sorts of animals...some i don't even know of...my parents saw many "deer"? remind me again what noise a deer makes? anyway i never saw them..they were too far away.

another thing my family does whilst "camping" is cooking in a dutch oven.  apparently it works just like a real oven only it's smaller and you can use it outside.  oh and the food we had was only awesome...

thirdly. secondly? who knows. i can't count higher than one yet...

another thing my family did at this land was ride four-wheelers... i know what you're thinking...danger...but that was going to be my middle name. but just so you know my dad was driving like 2 miles an hour.

my uncle jo happened to turn sixteen when we were there so in celebration i wore my cupcake shirt.

my gramma and her friend made a really cool treasure hunt for all the big kids using things like gps tracking and a compass with a real treasure under lock and key at the end.  i hope my mama does that for me some day...

life is what you make of it. i'm learning and enjoying.

can you see my grampa? cuz i can't...
